Handoff to a person

Learn in five minutes

• A handoff in this lab means a person continues the turn.
• The packet names the channel, what was already said, the note id, and the open question.
• Pipecat's overview uses handoff for control moving to another agent. That is a software handoff. A human handoff is a separate sentence.
• The model does not invent a promise for the person to keep.
• If no person is available, the reply says so.

Four lines are enough for the learning packet. A software handoff between agents is not the same sentence as a person taking the call.

A later test can add a script you wrote. It cannot add a legal conclusion.

• Write the goal in one sentence.
• Name the input and the allowed output.
• Save the trace next to the result.

Troubleshooting

• The answer looks fluent and is wrong. Check whether a source passage actually contains the claim.
• The loop never stops. Set a step cap and stop when the tool result repeats.
