Claiming and the false 'limit' on the first number — Learn it in 5 minutes
About five minutes of reading
The first claim is a Support conversation more often than people expect.
The default quota is 10 numbers per instance, and it is adjustable. The docs also say you can see 'You've reached the limit of Phone Numbers' the first time you claim, and that those failures need Support.
Concurrent campaign calls default to 0. Outbound calling destinations are allowed by country. A new instance that cannot dial the country you care about is a quota or a country allow list, not a flow bug.
- Raise the call concurrency quota before you publish the number.
- Associate the number with a flow or the caller hears nothing useful.
- For Global Resiliency, numbers join a traffic distribution group.
- Write down the carrier and the country. Porting later depends on both.
