# Two administrator applications

- The technical requirements still describe a Java VCC Administrator and a web Administrator Console. Java is not supported on Mac workstations with ARM processors. On those machines the document says to use VCC Administrator via Web in Admin Console.
- Because web applications do not need a Java SE subscription, the same document strongly recommends moving to the Five9 Plus applications. The Java client is still documented, with named JRE 8 update builds. Treat that list as dated and re-read the PDF before you image a PC.
