The glossary is a short definition plus a citation. The mind map is a topic picture, not a network diagram.
Each glossary term in this lab is a short sentence and a citation. The citation is the authority. If you need the normative text, open the RFC or the vendor page named on the row. Quoting the glossary back as if it were the RFC is how a wrong timer gets into a design.
New rows for this edition point at RFC 7118, the open-source project pages, RFC 8224, the public laws, and The Campaign Registry. A row that says confirm has a label and no URL, because that link was not opened.
The ecosystem page draws a mind map with the markmap library already in this lab. The nodes are topics: signaling, media, the open core, compliance documents, and neighboring systems. A line in that drawing is not a trunk, not a VLAN, and not a failure domain.
Use it to choose the next track. WebRTC and SIP over WebSocket is the browser path. The open-source track is the four projects. The compliance track is the statutes and the identity RFCs, with the educational disclaimer. The rest of this track is how those pieces sit next to contact-center neighbors.
