Rooms

  1. Glossary and the mind map

The glossary is a short definition plus a citation. The mind map is a topic picture, not a network diagram.

  2. Sister technologies around the session

WFM, recording, emergency policy, analytics, CRM, AI agents, and programmable APIs hang off the session. They are not SIP proxies.

  3. Configuration and troubleshooting seams

Configure the file the project names. Troubleshoot the plane that failed. Do not copy a sample this lab did not print.

  4. Bridges from enterprise UC to open platforms

CUCM, Webex, and the contact center already have SIP seams in this lab. The open projects are the other side of a trunk, not a hidden mode inside CUCM.

  5. Integration hooks that are already named

Future work should use hooks the documents already name: AMI, AGI, ARI, the Event Socket, SIPREC, and SIP over WebSocket. This lab does not ship a live connector.

Ecosystem

SIP does not replace workforce management, quality monitoring, CRM, emergency policy, or a messaging registry. It is the session seam those systems hang from. Compliance notes on this page are educational and are not legal advice.
