Only the rules below are cited. A country list for a calling plan changes. This page does not freeze one. Anything marked example is a teaching label, not coverage.

The FCC鈥檚 MLTS rules, from Kari鈥檚 Law and RAY BAUM鈥檚 Act section 506, require multi-line telephone systems to let a user dial 911 directly, to notify someone on site, and to send a dispatchable location. Read the current FCC page before you design a prefix or a location source.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 is the GDPR. A recording of a person鈥檚 voice can be personal data. This lab does not invent a retention period or a member-state recording statute. Read the regulation and the recorder vendor鈥檚 current guide.
Microsoft publishes which countries and regions have Calling Plans and Audio Conferencing. That list changes. Direct Routing is a customer SBC and is a different model. Cisco publishes Webex Calling availability in Webex Help. This lab links both and copies neither list.
Example, not a coverage claim. ITU-T E.164 is the international public numbering plan. Engineers say +1 for the North American plan, and they still have to confirm the national plan they are dialing. +91 and +81 below are examples of country codes in that plan. They are not a statement that any product in this lab sells PSTN there.
