Unity Connection
The forwarded call must tell Unity which mailbox to open. Otherwise every caller hears the opening greeting.
- INVITE — The called phone rings.
- INVITE — Forward on no answer. Diversion or history names the original called number.
- Greeting — Unity matches a mailbox. No match falls through to the opening greeting.
A user who dials the pilot from their own phone and hears the opening greeting is a sign-in scope problem, not a missing codec. The call is a direct call, not a forwarded one.
