Webex local gateway
A local gateway is a customer-managed border that connects a Webex Calling location to premises PSTN.
- INVITE — The location's PSTN choice sends the call to the gateway registered for it.
- INVITE — The gateway's dial-peer selects the carrier or the PBX.
- 200 — Answer and SDP.
- RTP — Confirm the media addresses. Control Hub is not the RTP relay.
Calling Plan has no local gateway. If the design says Calling Plan, do not troubleshoot a CUBE that is not on the path. A location pointed at the wrong gateway fails only that location.
