# A migration habit that does not invent a cutover

- Faster is not a date.
- SIP trunking splits a private domain and a public domain.
- A number can be moved only when you can name the domain that owns it.
- Rollback is the path back to the domain you saved. This lab does not claim a vendor button for it.

Pick one imaginary study number and label it sample, not a real customer number. Write old domain, new domain, test, and rollback. Cite the trunk article for the domains and the Infinity line only for Avaya's direction of travel.
