Microsoft's customer story says telecom expenses dropped by 78 percent after the company consolidated PBX exposure, removed leased lines, and deployed Teams Phone. Direct Routing as a Service, and later Operator Connect, provided PSTN. The story counts 2,322 phone users on Operator Connect, says all on-premises PBX lines were decommissioned, and counts 400 devices with Teams Phone plus SIP common-area phones. Partners named in the story include Logitech, HP | Poly, AudioCodes, and NTT Data.
Microsoft's customer story quotes Benny Matityahu, VP Unified Communications at AudioCodes: a proof of concept that used to take six to eight weeks could be set up in a day after the move to Azure, and in many cases a new customer could be onboarded to Teams Phone within a week. The same story describes Voca as AudioCodes' Teams-native contact center, using Azure Cognitive Services, with routing, queuing, and CRM integration named as product capabilities.
Logicalis lists a service to integrate Microsoft Teams Calling with Webex Contact Center using Teams Direct Routing and a Cisco CUBE as the SBC. That is a partner offer. It is not a case study with an outcome, and it is not evidence that every Teams plus Webex Contact Center design uses CUBE.
