Bandwidth's two emergency hosts
Two base URLs means two products until someone shows you they are the same account. The guide's instruction is to select the one your account uses. Writing both into one client is how you call the wrong host.

- The Dashboard base URL on that page is https://app.bandwidth.com/api/.
- The 911 Access Dashboard base URL on that page is https://service.dashcs.com/dash-api/xml/emergencyprovisioning/v1/.
- The page says to pick the API that matches the account, and to ask the account manager if you are unsure.
- Bandwidth's home page lists an Emergency Calling API beside voice and messaging, and the voice page says you can manage whitelisted IPs for Voice and E911.

What is going on

Dynamic Location Routing is a name on the Bandwidth home page under emergency services. This session did not open a DLR specification, so the routing rules stay confirm. The home page is enough to know the name exists.
Worked example
Write the two base URLs and circle the one your account manager named. If you have no account, leave both uncircled and do not invent a login.
Quiz
1. Bandwidth publishes two emergency base URLs on the guide that opened.
True. Dashboard and the 911 Access Dashboard are both listed.
2. Dynamic Location Routing rules were specified on that same guide.
False. DLR is a home-page name. The rule text was not opened.
Ecosystem
Sister pieces sit on the ecosystem page: the glossary, the mind map, the integration map, and the bridges.
- 911 Access Dashboard — The Bandwidth emergency host whose base URL begins with service.dashcs.com on the guide.
- DLR — Dynamic Location Routing, a label on the Bandwidth home page. The behavior was not opened.
Config. Store the base URL that matches the account. Do not mix app.bandwidth.com and service.dashcs.com in one client by accident.
Troubleshooting. A 404 on an emergency call you made to the wrong host matches this split. Check the host before you change the address record.
Bridge. Twilio associates an emergency address with a phone number. Bandwidth splits hosting. Neither page is the Wikipedia definition of E911. Cite the one you implemented.
Mind map, sister technologies, and future hooks live on the ecosystem page.
