Messaging and verify
Verify is not the same API as send-an-SMS, even when SMS is one of its channels. Vonage says so by giving Verify its own page and a channel list. Twilio's Verify navigation includes TOTP and push, which are not SMS at all. Pick the channel from the page, then pick the product.

What is going on
Verify is not the same API as send-an-SMS, even when SMS is one of its channels. Vonage says so by giving Verify its own page and a channel list. Twilio's Verify navigation includes TOTP and push, which are not SMS at all. Pick the channel from the page, then pick the product.
Infobip's sample is a shape: a messages array, a destination, a from, and a text. The sample destination in the docs is not a number this lab owns, and it is not a production sender. The hub also has a Roadmap label. Dates on that roadmap were not opened.
Worked example
A login code: write Verify, then one channel from the vendor page you are using. A marketing text: write Messages, not Verify. If the channel is WhatsApp, open the WhatsApp prerequisite before you assume SMS rules apply.

- Verify — The two-factor product Vonage describes, and the separate Twilio docs set. Not a synonym for the messaging API.
- Silent Authentication — A Vonage Verify channel name. Twilio's navigation says Silent Network Auth. The names are similar and the pages are different.
Config. Record product, channel, and sender. Three fields. A missing sender is not fixed by changing the body text.
Troubleshooting. A code that never arrives: confirm the channel. An SMS Verify attempt is not a TOTP attempt.
Bridge. 10DLC registration can sit in front of A2P SMS. Verify traffic is still a messaging path. The registration room tells you what was not priced.
