T3-R02. The Services setup wizard from a trial or subscription order through country of operation, Common Edge, and the handoff to voice and digital setup. nee1mb6 header February 28, 2025. Retrieved 2026-10-14.
01 · TL;DR
The country click is the one you cannot undo
- Partners should finish setup before they hand the account to a customer administrator. [cite:1]
- The customer path starts from the Welcome email’s Get Started link, then a password, then Terms of Service. [cite:1]
- The wizard at https://admin.webex.com/ keeps appearing until setup completes. [cite:1]
- You cannot change the country of operation after confirm. [cite:1]
- The header on nee1mb6 is February 28, 2025. re-check [cite:1]

What the wizard actually locks

03 · Core
Two entry doors, one wizard
nee1mb6, header February 28, 2025, says a partner or a customer administrator can set up services for trials and subscription orders, and the Services setup wizard experience is the same for both. Cisco recommends that partners complete the steps before handing the account to customer administrators. re-check [cite:1]
For a trial, the final Start New Trial screen asks whether to set up services. For a subscription, the Order Set-Up wizard ends with “Thank you. The order has been mapped correctly,” and Next continues setup. The customer administrator gets a Welcome email, opens Get Started, sets a password, chooses Save & Sign In, and accepts the Terms of Service. [cite:1]
On Contact Center set up, you choose the country of operation. You cannot change it after you click confirm. By default it matches the country chosen in the Order Mapping wizard. Webex Contact Center creates the tenant in the data center for that country. The country-to-data-center list is the Data Locality article. If an incompatible location message appears after Save, contact Cisco Solution Assurance. [cite:1]
On Calling Set up, review the SIP address name and click Next. You may modify the SIP address. You may also configure Webex Calling for the organization. Those are not the country lock. [cite:1]
The telephony section shows the connection using Common Edge services, which the article calls a shared edge infrastructure between Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center. Click Next. On Review, Submit, then Download Order Summary, then Close. The Contact Center service is then available. The follow-up click path in the article is Contact Center > Settings > Set up Cisco Webex Contact Center. [cite:1]
What to do next, in the article’s words: set up entities, set up voice options with the voice-channels article, and set up digital channels with the digital-channels article. A later block in the same article says the Data Locality list also applies for On Premises and Webex Contact Center Enterprise, and that a premise-based deployment should select a country of operation which provides services closest to the deployment. That block also says to have an order for Webex Connect or Google Contact Center AI hybrid service before you begin. [cite:1]

|---|---|---|
| SIP address name | Yes. The article says you can modify it. | [cite:1] |
| Country of operation | No, after confirm. | [cite:1] |
| Time zone | Chosen on the wizard. Default follows the region. | [cite:1] |
| Common Edge telephony | Shown, then Next. This page does not offer a second edge. | [cite:1] |

Ecosystem and sister technologies
Provisioning is the door. Voice, digital, identity, and emergency calling are the next rooms.
- Services setup wizard
- The Control Hub wizard for a trial or a mapped subscription. It reappears until setup completes. [cite:1]
- Country of operation
- Chooses the data center. Not editable after confirm. [cite:1]
- Data Locality
- The article the wizard points at for country-to-data-center mapping. The same list is called out for on-premises and Webex Contact Center Enterprise in nee1mb6. [cite:1]
- Common Edge
- The telephony section’s name for the shared edge between Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center. [cite:1]
- Welcome email
- Sent to the address on the trial or order wizard. Get Started sets the password. [cite:1]
- Order summary
- Download Order Summary after Submit, then Close. [cite:1]
- Solution Assurance
- Who you contact if Save reports an incompatible location. [cite:1]
- Webex Connect order
- The later block says have a Connect or Google CCAI hybrid order before that begin-state. [cite:1]

Cross-platform bridges
nee1mb6 says the Data Locality list applies for On Premises and Webex Contact Center Enterprise as well, and that a premise deployment should pick the country of operation closest to the deployment. That is not a statement that the multi-tenant wizard builds a Router. [cite:1]
Unified CM provisioning is a different console. This wizard does not print a CUCM publisher step.
Peer contact-center account setup is not mapped on this page. No parity matrix.
Future-integration hooks
- Canon planning: the next click after this room is T3-R05, then T3-R06.
- The February 28, 2025 header is older than 12 months. re-check [cite:1]
- Exact Data Locality country rows were not copied. Open that article before you name a data center. TODO-verify the row for a specific country until you read it.
- Uncited commercial SKUs stay TODO-verify.

| Save says the location is incompatible | The country of operation does not match a supported mapping. | The message after Save. | Contact Cisco Solution Assurance. Do not click around hoping the country becomes editable. | [cite:1] |
| Chat is missing after Submit | Digital channels are a later article, and Connect or CCAI hybrid needs its own order in the later block. | Whether that order exists. | Follow the digital article. Do not reopen the country. | [cite:1] |
| 911 was assumed live | nee1mb6 does not configure emergency calling. | Whether RedSky or the Calling emergency path was done. | Use the Calling emergency articles, not this wizard. | [cite:2] |

1. 30 seconds. Trial and subscription share the Services setup wizard. Country of operation locks after confirm and picks the data center. [cite:1]
1. 2 minutes. The SIP address can still be edited on Calling Set up. Common Edge is the shared telephony edge the wizard shows. Then I leave this room for voice and digital articles. The header is February 28, 2025, so I re-check it. [cite:1]
2. 30 seconds. Customers start from the Welcome email’s Get Started link. [cite:1]
2. 2 minutes. Password, Save and Sign In, Terms of Service, then the wizard at admin.webex.com until it completes. Partners are recommended to finish before the handoff. [cite:1]
3. 30 seconds. An incompatible location goes to Cisco Solution Assurance. [cite:1]
3. 2 minutes. I do not keep clicking confirm hoping the country becomes editable. [cite:1]
4. 30 seconds. Submit does not mean calls and chat exist. [cite:1]
4. 2 minutes. The article’s next list is entities, voice channels, and digital channels. The later block also wants a Connect or Google CCAI hybrid order before that begin-state. [cite:1]
5. 30 seconds. This wizard does not configure 911. [cite:2]
5. 2 minutes. Emergency calling stays on the Calling and WebRTC articles. The Data Locality sentence in nee1mb6 also mentions on-premises and Enterprise, which is a country list, not a Router design. [cite:1]
